A reading from the first Letter of Saint John I John 3:1-3.
God the Father loves us very much, He lovingly made (created) us his children.
The world refused to believe God, and so the world does not understand that we are God’s children.
Dear friends, now we are children of God. But we do not know yet what we shall become in the future.
We know that when Christ comes again, we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he really is.
Any person that really believes in Christ will try to stay pure because Christ is pure.
